Just came back from my first ever pilates class at the gym. It's probably not "real" pilates - not a reformer bed in sight, but I definitely worked my core. What surprised me was that my shoulders, chest, triceps and legs also got a workout. As an overall conditioning class to support my circus strengthening I'm doing it was great! This is lucky because I didn't make it to the gym last night - my train trip took 1.5 hours thanks to a train with brake problems so I only had time to go to tap. Yay. I'm going to try it every Friday.
In other news, I am feeling GREAT with my eating. I've been having humungous salads every day, and no chocolate and by today, not even a craving for it. I can't wait to weigh myself at the gym on Sunday morning.
Exercise plan has changed slightly:
Sat - 1,000 steps x 4
Sun - still going to group exercise class at the gym
Mon - LONG walk. I need to walk for more than 9 hours. I'm thinking about walking to Cranbourne to visit my Dad's grave, tend to it, water the plants, etc. and walk back. It's a 45km round trip.
